HIUS is a web application built with Laravel and Livewire that provides a centralized platform for health-related services. It brings health information management and user services together for various stakeholders, offering real-time data updates, interactive user interfaces, and streamlined health management processes in a single system.
What is HIUS?
HIUS is a health information and user services platform I contributed to at Sanmark Solutions. Developed using Laravel and Livewire, it centralizes health-related services so that different stakeholders can manage health information and user-facing services efficiently. The application emphasizes real-time updates, interactive interfaces, and simplified health management workflows, all delivered through the web. You can explore the project at https://healthnet.health.gov.lk/.
How does HIUS work?
The platform uses Laravel as its underlying PHP framework and Livewire to power dynamic, interactive components without leaving the server-driven model. Together they enable real-time data updates and responsive user interfaces, allowing stakeholders to manage health information and access user services through streamlined, centralized processes rather than scattered tools.
My Role
As a contributor to this project, I worked on enhancing functionality and ensuring smooth integration across the system. My focus was on improving the user experience and accessibility, making the health management processes easier to work with for the platform’s various stakeholders.
Tech Stack
- Laravel - the PHP framework serving as the application’s foundation and backend.
